Decente was founded by Umut Urkun, who’s had extensive experience in the global lubricants industry. He worked for an international oil major for 29 years until retirement and assumed many roles mainly in sales and marketing in the EAME (Europe Africa Middle East) region as well as several positions in the global organization. During that time, he was involved in strategy development, developing numerous market and marketing plans, leading sales and marketing organizations. He was also responsible for implementing digital transformation projects in the EAME region. Having accumulated all this experience culminated in founding his own company to support other organizations as a consultant, mainly as a supplier of reliability solutions. These include services and products mainly around lubricants and lubrication including condition monitoring and predictive maintenance. Decente’s main goal is to improve the reliability and safety of the operations of our customers in a more sustainable way, while keeping the total cost as low as possible.
